The Post Dispatch news hounds and their prolific story stealer Jo Mannies broke big news yesterday. Ms. Mannies informed us that the National Urban League - a 501c3 organization barred by law to endorse candidates - will not be endorsing presidential candidates at their annual convention in St. Louis this week!

And since “Political Correspondent” Mannies reported the story from the convention, she ACTUALLY had to leave her office to do the story. Regular readers of the Political Fix have become accustomed to reading “inside” information from party pariah, cut and paste “bloggers” and Arch City, wanna be publishing tycoons. Reporting what is obvious to most informed people is pretty lame Jo, but at least it’s a start.
